The opening up of eastern Europe after the fall of the iron curtain created many opportunities for the exploration of untapped markets within the Czech Republic and Germany. Marius Gardner a british antiques dealer with a long history of trading in Europe found himself immersed into the glass industry of the former region of Bohemia (Czech Republic).

Discovering the works of the Karl Palda Veredelungs Werkstatten in Haida (Novy Bor) and Iglau (Jihlava).

We have created this website dedicated to providing original and inspired works of Palda and his successors, particularly the Art Deco era of the '30s extending to the present day. 

Our aim is to supply art dealers, interior designers and collectors alike.
